Welcome to the Veranda Bistro & More website!

Our bistro is located in one of the most beautiful natural surroundings of Tata, next to the Old Lake, in a quiet, idyllic, wooded area, away from traffic. In spite of its being isolated, it is very easy to reach and there are many free parking spaces next to it.

Our cosy restaurant overlooks the Mediterranean-style inner patio garden embraced by its arched, open arcade corridor.

 

 

Guests can enjoy a la carte and street food. Our chef prepares the seasonal dishes he recommends with special care from fresh ingredients, from popular dishes of both Hungarian and Mediterranean cuisine. From our street food line we offer our oven-baked pizzas and artisan burgers, accompanied by a wide selection of drinks. We pay special attention to our guests who require special dietary requirements.

 

 

 

The Veranda Bistro & More is also an excellent venue for 
corporate and private events, weddings. 
It has several cosy rooms with natural light: 
the largest of them, the Veranda, can be sectioned 
and connected to the smaller Vintage room. 
The Plane Room is separate and connects to 
the beautiful newly built Winter Garden. 
In this way, Veranda Bistro & More can cater for 
several events at the same time. 
We offer catering services, plate service 
and platters in all our rooms. 
We can prepare buffets for more than 20 people.

Since 2018, Veranda Bistro & More is a dog-friendly restaurant, so you don't have to leave your four-legged pet at home! The surrounding area offers plenty of leisure activities: a great place for hiking, long walks in the woods, sports. Bike trails lead through wild landscapes. The open-air beach on the shore of the Old Lake, two minutes away, is a refreshing experience for dog and owner alike.

 

 

It's obvious for us to include doggies in our events. Weddings with dogs can be very cool!
